Sugar and insulin :
When you eat carbohydrates, your body breaks them down into sugar.Then the sugar goes into your blood .Your cells use some of the sugar for energy .The extra sugar goes to your liver, where it is stored for later.
Your pancreas is under your stomach and it makes a special chemical called insulin. Insulin lets your cells take sugar from your blood. People with diabetes have to be careful about what they eat, and sometimes they have to check how much sugar is in their blood . Some people also need insulin injections to control the amount of sugar in their blood.

Waiting for love by Avicii
On December 2nd, Amin showed us a nice video " Waiting for love" by Avicii.
A DAY OUT TO COLLSEROLA PARK
4th, 5th and 6th grade went to "Collserola" park.
First the coach picked us up at school.We finally arrived at "Collserola".
We walked up to a place where we could play and have breakfast. After that we continued walking to the "Pantà de Vallvidrera".
We passed through a beautiful forest. There were trees and also some stairs that had leaves engraved on them. We arrived at the "Pantà de Vallvidrera", there was a bridge and we looked out for some frogs.
The reservoir had very low water and one side of the river was very, very dirty. We sat down there and paused for a while.
Then, we continued walking to a place that had picnic tables and we could eat our pica-pica, have lunch and play.
Later, we went back to school by coach.

The lion and the mouse
Once when a lion, the king of the jungle, was asleep, a little mouse began running up and down on him.This soon awakened the lion, who placed his huge paw on the mouse, and opened his big jaws to swallow him.
"Pardon, King!" cried the little mouse. " Forgive me this time. I shall never repeat it and I shall never forget your kindness".
